Farm Room: The Inn at Fireside Tavern Sherborn

Characterful, charming and sparkling clean. Positive: Lovely new room with ensuite, comfortable bed and sparkling facilities including hairdryer and iron. Hotel situated right in the middle of the town close to all amenities. Guest sitting room downstairs with tea and coffee making facilities and complementary snacks overlooking garden. Plenty of parking. Negative: Our ‘farm ‘ room a little noisy until the Restaurant downstairs closed in the evening.

Done properly, but uptight managers Positive: Clean, open, up to code, mini fridge with complementary bottles of water Negative: I’m having some issues with my living situation and I was a little slow getting out and I was waiting for my rideshare card to show up when the owners or managers or whatever showed up and began demanding to know when I was going to leave, they said I needed to leave in 20 minutes or there was going to be “another conversation” — it was absolutely unwarranted and obnoxious, and I got upset, and they called the police rather than accepting that I was upset about their attitude.. the police then got the way as I was leaving. It was also kind of confusing getting in and the temperature was way too high in the common area. Other than that, it was very nice.
